If you are a student, stay away from Turlington Realty. Worst experience I've had so far and I'm only two months into my lease. Upon move-in, the fridge had to be serviced four times because it was not cooling properly, the dryer knobs were all broken, holes were not patched, and carpet was stained and dirty even though it was supposed to be (steam-cleaned) prior to my move-in.



The elderly woman they have as a receptionist is the WORST human being I have ever met. I've never met someone with such little customer service and with extreme rudeness as her. I hate calling Turlington because I hate having to deal with that woman. Unfortunately, I think she's family so that's why they haven't fired her yet.



Alicia is another one who is difficult to work with. She seems friendly and kind when you're signing your papers and once it's processed she becomes like the receptionist. Everything is your fault and Turlington will never take responsibility for their lack of oversight on their properties.



If you decide to rent from them, document every call, photo, etc. because you're in for an uphill battle with them.

I have rented with them for 2 years. We were blessed in having a property that was refurbished. When i called for maintinence (like caulking problems, pest problems, pipes, etc ) they got back to me quicker via email, AND the person that repairs got back to me within a week (average time was 2-3 days). I think it depends who you call and who you work with. Alicia was pretty good with everything we asked of her.
