I was born in Miami, then I moved to Gainesville and thought I was gonna have to give up my cuban coffee, and my cuban food. Then I was riding down SW 13th St, and spotted Virtually Cuban. The two owners were born and raised in Miami, and all of their meats and coffee are shipped directly from Miami. I have eaten there numourous times and have tried everything on the menu, and I will say that the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant reminds me of Miami everytime I eat there. It is just like having a little bit of Miami in Gainesville. If you like authentic cuban food then I would recommend trying Virtually Cuban. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Wanted to go to a Tapas on our 40th anniversary. We were visiting Gainesville and had seen the web site for Emiliano's we were so glad we went and wish we lived closer we would go every week. It is small but has an outside seating area. The scallop ceviche was to die for as were the other items.Helpful and friendly staff and the food came out several selections at a time with perfect timing. The ease of the menu selection was great compared to other tapas places. Needless to say we really enjoyed the restaurant.
Absolutely fabulous Authentic Spanish Food! .
