Child's Academy A

Where do I start!! First and foremost…The People, The People, The People!! We’ve grown to love so many of the ACA staff over the years, starting with Ms. June and her wonderful attention to detail. I always felt confident when my kids were babies they were getting the most attentive care in her nursery. Ms. Ana has been with Leah and Lily from day one, even coming to the hospital to meet Lily when she was born. Ms. Monica and all her wonderful sayings and songs she has brought to Child’s Academy. The kids still play the “jump up and down” game at our house. Ms. Gail and all her hugs!! (Tell her the Snuggle’s family will miss her). I’m sad Lily won’t be moving up to Ms. Gail & Ms. Sam’s class, they’re the sweetest and Ms. Sam has always helped my children feel safe and comfortable when they’re scared. Ms. Vickie and Ms. Virginia were the most amazing VPK teachers; I brag about the fact that my child could read before the age of 5. I can’t wait for Lily to be in their class when she returns for VPK. But goodness knows it’s going to break Lily’s heart not to see Ms. Kayla every day. Every time we leave the house to come to school in the morning, she’s repeatedly saying “I want my Kayla”. I was very happy when I first came to ACA and Ms. Pat was the director. She came highly recommended, but we’ve been even happier since Ms. Jayme has come and brought all the wonderful changes that have come to be. And all the staff that came with her and since that we’ve had the pleasure to interact with: Aimee; Maria; Merari; Alison; Anna; Kim; Allison; Theresa; Katie; Courtney. They have all made my children’s experience here a positive and loving one. Of course I’m not forgetting Ms. Roberta and all the food she seems to be able to make that my kids love, but won’t touch when we make it. AND to Mr. Joey! Thanks for all you do around there to make it such a fun and safe place for the kids. You’re such a great sport about putting on all the characters for the kids. I know Leah loved it, but can’t really say that Lily did!! As you can tell, we’ve been very happy with the staff here at ACA. One of the main reasons that we choose this school though is because of the reputation for its attention to academic achievement in pre-school development. I can say very confidently that A Child’s Academy has come through there. Both my children have really thrived academically and we have been impressed that by the age of two they we’re both able to recite the Alphabet, count to 20, identify primary colors and know countless adorable songs along with sign language.

What I like best about the chi...

What I like best about the child care experience at A Child's Academy is that teachers are dedicated and consistent with the pre-school curriculum. I am confident my daughter, Anna is prepared for Kindergarten. My favorite part of my child's day with A Child's Academy is the morning in which the classroom is learning to recite our National Anthem. Also, I am appreciative the students are learning to sing the Star-Spangled Banner and America, the Beautiful. I believe my child, Anna is learning the value of our rich American culture that will remain as she matures and continues her education. School Readiness (Kindergarten) is the greatest benefit Anna is receiving by being enrolled at A Child's Academy(ACA). I am confident that Anna will be prepared for Kindergarten. I am so pleased that the teacher always has control of the classroom. Students have learned to respect the classroom as a learning environment. I would certainly recommend ACA to new parents. The teachers are competent and experienced. I believe by enrolling my child in the ACA pre-school program my child will have a better future.

Since Elena started going to A...

Since Elena started going to ACA, first thing every morning she asks me to please dress her as she wants to go to school. When we pick her up, she is always happy; it takes her a while to get to the car. She loves when Mrs. Sandra does her hair, cannot stop asking her Daddy if he likes the hair-do Mrs. Sandra did for her. We are thrilled with how much she has learnt there, both academically and emotionally. We do not speak English with Elena at home. And since she joined ACA, her English has improved dramatically. She now knows how to count very well and she responds very well to people addressing her in English. In addition, she is a more patient and respectful playmate with her little sister. Aaya, our 20-month-old, goes there occasionally. Every day when we take Elena to school, it is hard to make her understand that she cannot stay. It has become a ritual for her to go get her treat ヨ a yummy cheese cracker. She knows exactly where Mrs. Pat keeps them ;o)! We are very pleased that both of our girls feel happy and loved in their School
