I hate dry cleaners. They charge me a lot of money for something that I can do anyway, and I can usually do it better than they can. With that said, Greenhouse is actually a pretty good place. First off, they do a really good job on the basics. One of my biggest issues with my last cleaners was the fact that they creased the cuffs on my french cuff shirts, and T& C leaves them nice and straight. Furthermore I noticed they have replaced some worn buttons on my shirts without me needing to point them out (always seems to be an issue with other cleaners I try). Lastly, echoing other member comments, they are super friendly. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5-star is that prices are a little high. However, for the aforementioned pluses as well as the great location relative to my apartment, I find that it's worth the price.
I hosted an outdoor formal this past weekend and wore a beautiful electric blue, satin, floor-length evening gown from Cache. I was devastated because I thought I had ruined it with alcohol stains, citronella oil from tiki torches (during a quick clean-up), and other miscellaneous stains. I found Robinson's Cleaners in the phone book, a company that is locally owned and operated and decided to give them a call. They were AMAZING!! I walked in and the lady at the counter saw how upset I was and told me not to worry because they knew what they were doing. I felt so relieved just hearing that! I just picked up my dress and it looks brand new!! I am ecstatic!! I just wanted to spread the word because these guys were great and really did know what they were doing. I have found my Gainesville dry cleaners!!
I did the dry clean of my 4 jackets with them. It was a little more than what I wanted to spent but attendant were nice, my jackets were clean and it was ready on time. I would dry clean my laundry again on this store.
