Their prices for canoe and kyak rentals are great. They drive you to one of two drop off points and you paddle downstream back to the store location. That's nicer than waiting for someone to come pick you up when you're done. Their stretch of the New River is very pretty and I like that it's shallow (could put your feet on the ground anywhere). Not a strong swimmer - not a problem. Fun rapids in some places (but all the rapids are very easy). Their stretch is very pretty, great for bird sightings (especially cranes). Since it's so shallow, you never know what will you'll see in the water with you. Sometimes the fish, sometimes a long-horn steer (seriously). The people are nice. They are competent. The little store is helpful before your river trips, too.

Very good place to get personal service. Hours are varied but will always return calls and arrange river trips to suit you needs.
