Dear France, (if that's even a name for a person) Just thought you should know some facts about the mail system. Since it's obvious from your review that your knowledge is a bit cloudy. Sounds like you were mailing what is called a First Class Package. Am I right? Most likely yes. With First Class Packages tracking IS available UPON REQUEST. If you didn't state "first class WITH tracking" (or the correct term 'delivery confirmation') then the clerks at the Post Office won't give it to you. Would the waitress at a restaurant automatically assume that you wanted a milkshake with your meal if you didn't ask for one? Highly doubt it! Delivery confirmation(tracking) is in fact $1.05 extra with first class. Which is the reason it is available only upon request, obviously. The only time it is included into the cost of shipping and not optional is with packages over 13 ounces. I'm sure the men/women at the post offices aren't mind readers. So make yourself clear and ASK for delivery confirmation if it's so important to you. Blowing up in public is never the answer. And whining about it online isn't going to help you when you're clearly uneducated and in the wrong. Hope this helps :)

+Good service, clean, efficient -Lack of privacy* *Here's the website showing how the USPS Privacy Policy http://about.usps.com/who-we-are/privacy-policy/privacy-policy-highlights.htm. If the sender puts down your email address and sends your package priority USPS is likely to send you emails with detailed tracking information even though you didn't request it.
