DO NOT GO HERE!

I went there on a recommendation. Received a quote of $100 to do some work. Accepted quote and went in to have the work done. To make a long story short when they were done the job cost over $250. They did the work without updating me about the cost. Then a few weeks later my windshield wiper spray quit working. Took my car into the dealer and discovered, $150 later that they had plugged a fuse into the wrong socket. Took the dealer invoice to them to see what they would say, the worker took a copy for the boss....it has now been 2 months and I never heard from them. So a job that should have cost $100 total ended up costing me $400. I would NEVER return to these people for anywork.

My wife and I were looking for a great place to put a small stereo system in my sons truck for his birthday. I was refered to California Car Stereo by a co-worker, they have a nice store and are very friendly. We had a budget to work with, it was $500. When we let them know what our budget was, they started asking questions about what kind of music my son listens to. At first I thought this was weird but after we let them know that he listens to rap and hip hop, they told us that $500 would get us a system that our would not be happy with. They took the time to sit us in their demo car, which I thought was a great seller for their store (it's a little car that sits on their show room floor and lets them demo any box and sub that they have in their store on a similar amp that you would be buying). They spent an hour and a half building a system they thought our son would like but still trying to keep the cost as low as possible. My wife was really happy with they customer service that they gave us and the time that they spent with us. They not only sold us on the equipment but they also educated us on what we were buying. Before we purchased our system with them we tried getting other quotes from other companies like auto sound lab, bananas, and audio innovations. All these other places had nice stores but really didn't listen or take the time to find out what we actually wanted. They all just tried to sell us on whatever they felt they wanted to get rid of. We got my son's truck done at california car stereo and he really loves the system they built for him. After they installed everything they took the time to sit with my son in his truck and show him everything his system could do. My wife and I were really happy with the customer service and the quality of work that this company showed us, they made us feel like a VIP customer even though it was our first time buying something from them. I highly recommend this company.
