Messy.... a tad dirty.... and don't mess with the cat or you'll get bit. But outside of that, Tom (or whatever his real name might be), is helpful and very knowledgable about trains. Especially old Lionel. He is a character also. He reminds me of a person lost in his own world (or shop as it may be). Forever digging under piles of debri looking for an item that he "BELIEVES" he may have...... and sometimes finding it. The last time I visited his store he tried to give me a kitten of all things. But above it all, Tom and his brother are good model train mechanics and we are sadly short of those now days. So let's all keep him afloat and drop in and occasionally buy something.

I live 50 miles away in Chowchilla, California. Only hobby supply where I can find very hard to find supplies or scratch building material. basacilly only decent hobby shop wint a 100 mile area drom where I live. Earnie and his crew are tops, very versed when you walk in and ask about something, Not to mention they allow our IMPS Chapter to hold there monthly meets there. 99 out of 100 times they will have what you need if they don't the'll tell you where to find it not like a lot of other stores. So Kudos to Earnie and the guy's and Gal's there. Robert D. Harrell in Chowchilla
Large store with a wide range of products. While some categories are well represented others seem to be after thoughts. If you are looking for RC accessories, gaming supplies, or plastic models they have a good selection. If you are looking for model railroading supplies then look elsewhere.
