General Info

The Woof Pack carefully screens all it's staff to ensure the highest level of care and security for each and every client. All dog walkers and pet sitters are interviewed, carefully selected, and given a thorough background check. Richard Delgado, Pack Leader (Owner) Richard was an athletic child. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, he played ice hockey from the ages of 5 to 13. He also played football, ran track, and lifted weights. As a child, Richard’s family had dogs and birds, and often rescued stray cats. Moving to California at the age of 17, he worked several jobs including automotive painting. After hanging up his spray guns, he went on to manage the shop. Richard returned to school and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation Biology (volunteering at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito). Richard is a pet lover himself, currently caring for his dog Storm, and two cats, Austin and Abilene. He is also now caring for a Tennessee Walking Horse named Ginger. After pet sitting and walking dogs for extra money while working toward his Biology degree, Rick started The Woof Pack at the end of 2005. Rick loves caring for animals, with over 20 years experience. Rick is a Pet First Aid and Safety Instructor with Pet Tech, the leader in the Pet First Aid and Safety industry. Rick is the lead dog walker and pet sitter.
