HUGE Country fan!

I am a HUGE fan of country music so I had to make it to this place at least once and then again and again! We go with a group of friends from work and it?s always a great time! They have so many fun events and even offer country dance lessons! The music is awesome, the food is delicious and fun times are had!

get yer drunk on with the rest of yer inbred cuzzinz

For the misplaced okies who grew up in silicon valley here's a great place to congregate and redirect the drunk drivers away from san jose and into fremont. And I see the SJ cops that can't/won't answer burglary or car break-in calls are here getting extra overtime plus security guard pay, same as when this place was in SJ. yee haw

Horrible Experience At The Saddle Rack!

In early February we took a party bus with 35 people down to the Saddle Rack for my twin nephews birthday. We range in age from 20's-50's, and were excited for a fun night of country music and dancing. Most of us had never been to the Saddle Rack. Yes, there was some drinking on the bus, but the ride down took less than an hour. Nobody was even close to drunk. \r
The pre-arranged cover charge of $10 for arrival prior to 9pm and went up to $20 when we pulled up at 9:15. As our gro
...view moreup headed up to the door, my nephew had asked the ""security"" guy if they would consider a break since we had such a big group and the party was pre-arranged. We were met with hostility from the moment we walked up. When asked if we could speak to a manager we were flatly told ""NO"", and that a few of the people were not going to be allowed in...no reason given. We all were totally blindsided by the antagonism. When some in our group questioned why, more ""security"" came to the front. My nephew tried to give them the full cover amount for everyone, but the ""security"" guys just stood there glaring and and seemed to be hoping for a problem. \r
\r
My brother in law was the DD that night as he was to drive some of us home at the end of the night. In an effort to not let this situation ruin my nephews birthday, he said it was ""not a big deal, lets just go somewhere else"" as he turned toward the parking/driveway. Without warning, he was jumped from behind by 3 of the ""security"" guys who slammed his face into the curb, punched, elbowed and kicked him in his face, torso and knees. They brutally and savagely beat him. My sister, in trying to pull them off her husband, was thrown face-down into the street, handcuffed and threatened with Mace. Some of the younger men jumped in to save my sister, and a short, quick altercation broke out. A ""security"" guy threatened to press charges against my sister for assault. It was all like a horrible dream. \r
When Fremont PD showed up, they accused my brother-in-law of being drunk, but declined to breathalize him at his request. At that point, my brother-in-law, bleeding profusely from his face, refused EMT transport because he wanted get out of Fremont. I have to say, the EMT's were amazing, even apologizing for our experience in their city and letting us know not all of Fremont is like that. A friend drove us to a hospital closer to home while the group stayed with my sister. She was eventually let go. The pictures we have are horrifying. \r
My brother-in-law was released from the ER the next morning. He missed 2 weeks of work due to his injuries. In the police report, it was stated that his injuries were ""accidental"". Calls to request the parking lot video have gone unanswered.\r
Those ""security"" guys provoked and instigated the entire situation. As soon as the party bus pulled up, it seems they had decided we were not going in, even if we had not asked about the cover charge. With the assistance of Fremont PD, they (some of the names I remember are Jason, Dave, and Eric) got away with their actions.\r
I thought I would feel safe once the police showed up. Boy was I wrong.\r
\r
We are not the kind of people that would participate in a bar fight or any other type of violence. We put on a charity golf tournament for 15 years, and have raised our now-adult children to be productive, compassionate, responsible members of society.\r
\r
Not only will I never go back to the Saddle Rack, I have been telling and showing the pictures of our experience to anyone and everyone I can so that nobody else has this very scary experience.\r

Yee Haw Y'all!

I love the Saddle Rack y'all! It's a massive wearhouse sized bar with a live country band, mechanical bullriding, a shot chair, and a food stand. I ordered 2 shots of Patron and a shot of Bacardi and it was only $20! So much cheaper than SF bars. I can't wait to go back for my birthday!

save a horse ride the mechanical b ull

First of all, I hate country music. With that said, I love the Saddlerack!!! I have gone several times with my friends and we always have a great time. The live band that is usually there when we go, Appaloosa, is always really good. The music they play is pop-country and actually a lot of rock-and-roll. They keep the crowd involved and invite the entire crowd of girls on stage to dance during certain songs. The people there are generally very friendly and you feel pretty safe mi...view morengling and dancing with whoever you want. I always have a good time with my friends riding the b ull and getting drinks at the barber chair. Definately reccommend the saddlerack for anyone looking to have an awesome time and dance the entire night away!!view less

Worst Ever!

I had the most shocking experience I have ever had at a bar here a few weeks ago. I was visiting in Fremont from Los Angeles and three of my young professional friends were supposed to attend a students-free Standford Graduate School mixer here. We drove quite a ways to get to the spot only to show up and immediately be pushed into the rail by one of the bouncers screaming: FIGHT! A whole series of bouncers then proceeded to run around and into my friends and proceed to take the next 1...view more5 minutes mashing 2 guys' faces into the floor. We then sat and watched as an aggressive yet unrestrained woman proceeded to take the opportunity to slash her stiletto into the face of one of the guys as her drunk friends (also unrestrained) flailed around outside. After sitting outside getting pushed around for 15 minutes, we calmly waited for 2 bloody and bruised men to be escorted out around us and then attempted to show a 70-year-woman who reeked of smoke our IDs for the student-free mixer. She denied that there was such an event and claimed that it would be $20 a person to enter. As we were pulling out our money to pay the preposterous entry fee for the bar an equally foul smelling 70-year-old man came and informed us that they did not want our business and sent us away. We left shocked but happy not to have known what might have occurred had we entered that forsaken institution.view less

I love this bar

Walking in you know you'll be stumbling out. The drunken girls provide some great entertainment at the bull. If you need courage the Barbers Chair should help. Too many can shorten your night but a trip to the barber always gets the party rolling. As for the Bar itself it's a pretty busy place but with three bars you don't stand waiting for a drink long, and if you have a table the waitress's take care to check on you. The house band is amazing, they will suck you in and get you enjoyi...view moreng your night. As for the crowd, there are plenty of cowboys and cowgirls but the crowd also fills in with people just coming down to enjoy a night at ""that country bar"" so you haven't any worry of getting tobacco spat or being bored to death with drones dominating the dance floors with line dancing.view less

Good Times

I have had some of my best time at the new Saddlerack! The babe's are the best and the dancing is top notch. The drink prices are at the low end for a club with live music. The band is the best in the area. No parking problems (unless you come late) then it can be a drag.
