We went here after seeing the 2 positive reviews on this site. Oh, how we wished we listened to that one negative review! This place was way too expensive for what we got. The nigri sushi was this HUGE wad of smushy, overcooked rice topped with a small piece of not bad, but not very fresh, piece of fish (we tried salmon, tuna, albacore, squid, tobiko, shrimp, eel and mackerel). The rolls were even worse. The eel was COVERED in this disgustingly sweet sauce and their miso soup was mostly just that-broth, hardly any tofu or seaweed. Although there was only 2 other couples there, the server was very slow and service was lacking. Unfortunately, we spent $60 on our dinner and wished we went somewhere else that had better food and a better value for our money.

went there on a monday night, had the all you can eat deal. the nigiri was worse than bad. the fish was not fresh at all, i've had good sashimi plenty of time, this was not good fish. it was sawgy and color looked bad. very small portion of fish compare to the rice. the rolls was just not very good. rice was way too soft and mooshy, not wraped very well, i can wrap rolls prettier than they can. waitress was very slow, there werent even that many tables to begin with and we have to ask for water refills. The appetizers were very average, the spinach came straight out from the fridge, not fresh at all. my friend can make better tasting seaweed salad. DO NOT GO THERE!! THAT WAS THE WORST WAY TO SPEND $50., MY STOMACH IS NOT HAPPY AND MY WALLET DEFINATELY IS NOT HAPPY!

I've been there a few times. Each time the service was incredible. The quality of the food is definitely top notch, and on Monday and Tuesday they have a great all you can eat sushi deal for like 20 bux. The regular menu prices are definitely reasonable too.

My husband and I are regulars at Edo Sushi. I only have wonderful things to say about the freshness in food, the service, the atmosphere, etc. The restaurant is small, however, does not feel crowded. This is definitely a ""neighborhood"" sushi bar. Although intimate, don't let this fool you. Their menu is excellent and they have many options to choose from. My only complaint is the quality of the service decreases when it is peak time. This is due to the small staff unable to assist everyone. This, can cause a delay in receiving your food and sometimes they forget items. However, thestaff ise never rude and have a wonderful attitude. All in all, I highly recommend Edo Sushi in Fremont, CA =)
