This past weekend, my wife and I purchased a couch, loveseat and recliner at Connollys Furniture. We had a great experience. Kim was the salesperson that assisted us and she did everything to make our experience an enjoyable one. She did not sell us furniture - she identified and met our needs. She asked us questions and made suggestions. She did not hover around us continually, but she did make herself available to assist when we needed some guidance. My wife was extremely worried about picking the wrong fabric pattern. Kim was of immense assistance in this area. She first let us wade through the samples on our own, then sensing our frustration, made a suggestion. My wife's sense of relief was immense! Kim answered all of our questions. I did not feel she was just "telling us what we wanted to hear", but rather gave us the real facts helping us understand the pros and cons of each alternative. Kim did everything right from our perspective. My wife and I will be very comfortable in recommending Connollys to anyone who asks.
I went to Connolly’s after shopping at other stores and was extremely satisfied with the entire experience there. We have been searching for a new living room and bedroom set since we got married; and we finally found just what we wanted. We made the sale with Michelle and the promised delivery date was honored. The two deliverymen were thorough, professional and assembled the furniture quickly. It was very heavy furniture, and the front doors to our home were very narrow. I was extremely surprised that they made it look effortless when they brought it all in. I was very happy with the delivery. Lastly, the quality and beauty of the furniture has completely enchanted our small home. We cannot wait to entertain now, and we are certainly going to recommend Connolly’s to our friends.
At Connollys they have samples of all sorts of chairs and couches that can be customize to your taste. If you don't like what you see in the store, you can flip through their catalog to see if there's something that catches your eye and then customize it. For example, the couch I saw was a regular sofa. We decided we wanted to add a chaise on the end of it to make it a little bit bigger. Then we picked the fabric and leg color. We got the extra stain protection. Overall, the price was about 1/2 of similar couches at Crate & Barrel or Restoration Hardware. Not the cheapest, but it's well made and looks expensive.
