To the unlucky recipient of this letter…

To the unlucky recipient of this letter:

This past memorial day, my family and I attended your four hour tour on the river and expected wonderful time as usual. It was an especially happy time for us because my brother came back from his post in Afghanistan; with his friend Lt. Rendon James and his family from ohio. Around the end of the blissful afternoon, our levity came to a halt as some patrons on the banks started yelling "K## ##.##ERS" from his red honda ATV, next to a large mid-ninteys pickup. Rendon and his family are African American. We bit our lip and proceeded down when the harrassment continued; "I GOT THREE SHOTS" these animals continued, "JUS GIMMIE A CHANCE!". A family next to us nervously ignore the comments until their father stood up and called one of the gentlmen an azzhole. The men, women and children standing on the banks stood silent as their male accomplice continued to scream at the top of his lungs "#.U.## YOU N#G.G3Rz" as the angry white power hate music blared out of their truck.

I hope that when you all kneel down and pray, and profess righteousness and Christian values ,you remember Lt. Rendon is protecting the freedoms of our nation

    we will never come back

    You've embarrased the military

P.S. This email will reach every travel website connected to your establishment. We have contacted the NAACP, and are avidly persuing legal action. Good Luck.

This place is not the place to go Tubing at all. In my opnion the owners are crazy. Most of the other negative blogs you see about this place are probably true. The owners and their hick employees feel that since it is their property they can harass visitors as much as they want. They will try to provoke young adults into arguing with them just so they can use their Pepper Spray. The use of Pepper Spray by three (3) grown hillbilly men on a young teenage girl was witnessed and was terrible. Of course we all know what we would call these guys don't we?? Something needs to be done about this place. Please don't go here unless you wish to have a miserable time. This is just an opinion of course.

    Beautiful River, Use a kayak

Even the drive up here is beautiful- rolling hills and farm country. This is a beautiful river with many swimming holes and beaches. Ask for a 20$ kayak, which in my opinion, is more fun than the canoe. Try to go on a weekday, as there are many crowds on the weekends. But they are closed on Wed and Thurs. I usually am the only one in a kayak on that section of the river.. everyone else chooses to go innertube style. They usually bring radios and beer; but they are friendly nevertheless. I recommend a wide brimmed hat and lots of extra drinking water. You can pull up your canoe or kayak and go for a walk, as the water is not that fast, unless it just rained. There are many shallow, beautiful areas. also, I have found a spring, which is a good stopping place, nestled amongst trees. There is a snowball stand. You may need help getting out of the flotation device of your choice, onto the dock. They are always there to help, waiting for you to return, and help you out of the water. Wayne rides his motorboat up and down the river late afternoon. I heartily recommend the kayak, especially ask for the "molded seat" kayak. This one in very comfortable, more than the strap held seats. Wayne's world is closed during winter, but for a longer drive, go to Black Creek Canoe and Kayak in Mississippi. They are open, but call for a reservation. You can meet Wayne and his wife and son and daughter in law They sell water and waterproof bags (expensive) with velcro closures.. This is good for a camera.
