Ultrasound

MRI
In order to diagnose you properly, your doctor will consider your symptoms, ask you about your activity leading up to the injury, and examine your knee carefully. Because half of all ACL injuries are also accompanied by injuries to the other soft tissue in the knee, your doctor will want to look at the big picture. In addition to examining your knee in specific positions and manipulating its movement, your doctor will likely want you to have X-rays (to check for fractures) or an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).

Pinched Nerve
In order to diagnose you properly, your doctor will consider your symptoms and examine your shoulder and neck to ensure that your pain isn’t caused by a pinched nerve, arthritis, or another condition. You will be asked to perform a few simple movements so that your doctor can measure your range of motion. Your doctor may also require you to have X-rays — to look for contributing bone issues, including spurs, an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) — to look more closely at the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the joint, or an ultrasound.
Joint Replacement
Remember, even if your orthopaedic specialist determines that shoulder joint replacement is a good medical option for you, it is still up to you to make the final decision. The ultimate goal is for you to be as comfortable as possible, and that always means making the best decision for you based on your own individual needs.
Hand Surgery
Dr. Shivaram completed his orthopedic training with Dr.Arsen M. Pankovich at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, which was a major trauma center. He also had extensive hand surgery training under the well-known hand surgeon Dr John Bilos. His training also involved hip and knee joint surgeries and joint replacements in addition to general fracture treatment. He also treats pediatric orthopedic patients in addition to adult orthopedic patients. As an avid biker he brings a unique personal aspect to treating patients with biking related orthopedic problems.
Orthopedic Surgery
I was very impressed with Dr. Saluja. I had another doctor picked out to do the surgery on my hips but [my doctor] suggested Dr. Saluja might be a good choice. He told me that [Dr. Saluja] had done his mother-in-law's surgery and that she had done exceptionally well...I attended classes that the hospital has for orthopedic surgery, and was hopeful my surgery would go as they had explained. My surgery went, not only as well as they had said, but better...I have recommended Dr. Saluja to everyone with whom I discuss surgery. I think he is a fantastic surgeon. I have a number of family and friends who have had surgery, and the ones who had Dr. Saluja agree with me that he is excellent.

Hip Replacement
Generally, after hip replacement surgery, you may spend approximately 3 to 5 days in the hospital. Most hip replacement patients begin standing and walking with the help of a walker and a physical therapist the day after surgery.

Physical Therapy
I had fallen down on my right shoulder with my arm extended. I made an appointment with ease to see Dr. Mysore Shivaram. Dr. Shivaram was accurate in the diagnosis of my shoulder: I had over a one inch tear in my rotator cuff and would need surgery. During my time of recovery and prior to getting back to work full time, Dr. Shivaram answered all of my questions and put me at ease. He also referred me to a professional physical therapy clinic called Pro Care. Dr. Shivaram displayed courtesy and professionalism. His staff was also caring and professional. I recommend Dr. Shivaram and am very happy with my outcome.
