Founded in 1995, Hunters Bend Elementary serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its facilities include a gymnasium, cafeteria, library and regular classrooms. The school operates the YMCA Fun Company to provide after- and before-school programs. Hunters Bend Elementary has a staff that includes a psychologist, consultant, speech and language therapist, special education teachers and full-time teacher assistants. The school has a library that offers classic literature and research materials, current periodicals, newspapers, music videos and cassettes. Its after-school activities include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Destination Imagination, choir, dance troupe, and runners, book and writers clubs. Located in Franklin, Tenn., Hunters Bend Elementary is a part of Williamson County Schools.

This is a fairly large elementary school. K-5th grade. Teachers are great. Wonderful library. There are murals up and down the hallways, in the cafeteria, and library. Just a great public school. Best school I've ever worked in.
