What a mess. I kept trying to explain to the adjuster here that the insurance company was asking me to get an estimate in addition to the one their own adjuster did, but he kept insisting that if the insurance company did their own estimate that I did not need an estimate from Bodyworks.
So I have to accept the estimate the insurance adjuster gave me? I can't find a second opinion? And you won't help me get a second estimate?
Me: But, I'm the customer, and I want an estimate. Can you give me one?
Me: Well, ok then...
He then told me to call the insurance company to straighten it out, and said, "Let me go get you my card," and then never came back.
(Believe me, I was as confused as you are. Don't businesses usually want to help customers?)
