The oriental jeweler, I don;t know his name, chipped the stone in my ring when he re-sized it and didn't offer to do anything about it until I confronted him. He ordered a new stone, which was not anything like the old one, and then did some filler work to make it fit the setting, which made it look tacky. He did finally agree to do this free of charge. The stone fell out within three months. I will go to someone else now.

My husband & I went in to get our wedding rings resized; we were blessed enough to get them done while we waited. The owner & his wife were so friendly, professional, and efficient. I'd highly recommend their business to anyone :)
