Dr. Steven Douglas Pedro, MD

He is a very good Dr but I think he is just going through the motions till retirement. I didn't feel as if he cared. He gets into this blank look as he's listening & then he starts giving orders to the dictating assistant. He can help you but he's not very welcoming.

Dr. Steven Pedro is a cocky, know it all, brilliant man!!! He worried me at first how for sure he was on things, but hands down knows his you know what! I was diagnosed with chronic hives and had them for over a year and a half. I went to my family doctor, immunologist, and allergist. They all did not know what to do and told me to wait it out. Some gave my steroids which made me gain a lot of weight and weaked my Immune system more. I was covered head to toe and itchy.



Dr. Pedro looked at me for 10mins. BAM! Came up with a crazy concoction of medicine and I was cured. My skin is beautiful and clear! I only had to take the medicine for a few months to make sure it was gone. Better yet no weight gain or side effects! Dr. Pedro knows his stuff!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend him!

My entire family has gone to Dr. Pedro for years. I would much rather wait a little while for a doctor I have complete trust in rather than walk right in to a doctor I don't trust. I guess you have to decide what your health is worth. By the way, I have never selected my doctors based on their personality.

I have never, nor has my husband who used to be a patient also, gotten in in under an hour. We stayed because we were told he is the best. Well I don`t know about that but we felt like we were part of a production line. Not only that, I was with my husband at his last visit for something to be removed (afte a 2 hour wait when we were one of the first in the morning!) and, after asking him later about the removal of a protuding mole he said oh, ok and just cut it off!!! No anesthetic whatsoever!!! I thought my husband was going to go through the roof! He walked out so physically sick to his stomache he couldn`t eat! (it was lunch time by now). I couldn`t believe what I saw. I would not recommend him for a dog!

The woman who waited didn't write that most Derotologists make you wait at least a month just to get an appointment to see them. Dr. Pedro sees people within the week or within the day if necessary.

I have been to the top dermotologists in the state including Southwest Medical Center in Dallas.

After going thru 7 seven different doctors over these past 8 years with a chronic skin problem, Doctor Pedro was the only one to cure me. He is absolutely the best secret in the state. Too bad other Dermotologists don't learn from him.

Everyone I know who has had similar experiences have absolutely raved about Dr. Pedro.

And he is a very nice man.

Staff is great.

I guess some people just don't have anything good to say about anyone.

Staff was great, but be prepared to wait for over an hour, closer to two. After waiting all that time, looked at the area of concern for under two minutes and told us to come back, when my daughter was ready for him to remove it. My daughter is 9 !!! Didn't really ever look me in the eye, very dry. Now it is twice as big and since it is on her face near her eye (cyst), I am really hoping it doesn't leave a larger scar. Going for second opinion in a couple weeks.
