STAY FAR AWAY FROM CITY GARAGE! I had quite possibly the worst customer experience of my life at City Garage. I was visiting family in Ft. Worth, and my alternator went out over the weekend, so I brought my car in on Monday and was told I would get it back Tuesday. Tuesday rolls along, and I m told Wednesday. Wednesday comes and goes, no car. Thursday I call their corporate office and face significant resistance, was talked down to, and was made to feel like a second hand customer. I finally get a call Thursday night right before closing saying the car is ready.
I get my car back after having my alternator replaced, and the cooling fans don t work! They were working before I brought the car in, but wouldn t come on afterwards. They refused to fix the part, even though they were the cause of it breaking. I told a friend about the experience, and she said she brought her Volkswagen Jetta in for a tune up and it ran rough after she got it back, and they refused to take responsibility for that too! IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR TO RUN LIKE IT S SUPPOSED TO, DON T TAKE IT TO CITY GARAGE!
I was told buy the City Garage manager, Seth, Your car is such a pain, it s making my hair line recede. SORRY IF MY BUSINESS IS A BURDEN TO YOU! I don t know why I was treated so poorly, but whatever the reason, I won t be going back. I give City Garage one star, only because I can t give them less.
