I've been coming to this salon for a couple of years now and while I can agree that sometimes they aren't the friendliest, I've always received good service. I'm usually greeted when I walk in and after I sign-in I've never had to wait more than a few minutes before I'm directed to a chair. I have had both pedi's and mani's performed, some were done at the same time while at other times, when it's not so busy, they'll do them separately. I've always been pleased with the work performed and I'm usually in and out in a reasonable amount of time based on the service I'm having done. I can only recall one time where they were really busy and my pedi/mani went long but that's a rare occurrence. I don't ever make an appt as I prefer to just walk in and they have always been able to accommodate me. I have gone to other salons during the time I've been going here, mostly because of convenience reasons and I was greeted by those salons in the same kind of coolness...not rude, but just a perfunctory "hello, how can I help you". I don't mean this in a racially negative way toward the Asian community but I wonder if it's a cultural thing. The one thing that bugs me about many of the nail salons these days is that the employees hold conversations in their native language in front of their patrons. I do find that rude behavior, not by just this salon, but by all of them. They have recently updated their chairs and some of their equipment, as well as a new coat of paint and it really has freshened up the place. Prices for their services are reasonable and they have various choices to choose from to fit your budget. If you're looking for a spa experience, go to a spa. Your local nail salon, and I've gone to many others in and around the same area as VIP Nails are not spas, but they do provide a bit of pampering for the price.
I've been in Texas for 5yrs now and in search of a great nail tech. Eagle Nails&Spa is it! This is my new fav place ☆ Everytime has been a wonderful experience. THE OWNER IS BACK AND BETTER THEN EVER! I'm not sure who was in here when that bad review occurred but i assure you it wasn't Kristy or her dynamic partner Amy! Kristy the owner has been out of the shop for a year with cancer and boy is she BRAVE! Their passion speaks through the great nail care and welcoming staff and shop well make you feel like you've been going to wrong nail shop this whole time! Totally recommended, you wont regret the experience! So if your new to Texas or the DFW area.. Stop by! You'll feel the peaceful environment and know your in good hands with these professionals! HA! MY NAILS ARE GORGEOUS ♡
This salon is un-usual, because they are not in such a rush to get you in and get you out.(unless of course that is what you are looking for) They personalize your experience, based on your needs. I have been getting my pedicures from there for years. With the big scare a few years ago, when people were getting infections, I was so pleased when I saw how they sterilize their spa tubs and instruments. For me, its about the service and atmosphere. The facial, foot and hand massages are some of the best I have ever had at a nail salon. I have ugly big toes due to surgery, so I always get sculpted nails on! They look amazing! Nancy you rock, thank you for all you do. I will see you soon! God Bless! Johnny and Kim will take care of you too!
