Very clean and tidy when we walked in. My 2 year old had to use the bathroom, so we went straight that way. It was clean and there were no bad odors. As we proceeded to the food, I didn't see anything that caught my eye. I got the chicken fried chicken with 2 sides and a roll. It was delicious! The mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, but I'm odd and like that. Macaroni was ok, as well as the corn. Our waiter was amazing; he was very attentive and kept my tea glass full. Everyone was happy and glad to help. No disgruntled employees around. I gave it 3 stars bc they didn't have a big variety of food; but the food I got was more than enough and tasty. I didn't get charged for my baby so that was awesome!

My husband, mother and I ate there for Christmas dinner 2014. The food that was supposed to be hot was hot; the food that was supposed to be cold was cold. My husband works in foodservice and I used to, so we are aware of food temperatures (above 140 degrees F for hot, below 40 degrees F for cold). There was a good variety of seafood, vegetable, and chicken dishes, no pork, and I think 2 beef and a good salad bar and dessert bar. I especialy like that the desserts were cut in small squares so you could sample several yet not get too full, or a sugar high. Oh, I forgot to mention the sushi and Mongolian grill. And the waitstaff were friendly, even on Christmas Day.
East Gourmet Buffet is an excellent place to eat. They offer food for both the east and west to fit almost anyone's style. The staff is cordial and inviting; the atmosphere is clean and welcoming as a result. The food itself is abundant in flavor, style, and technique in all the right ways. I would highly recommend anyone to give them a try at least once.
