Spring Creek may be a "chain" restaraunt, but that certainly does not keep that food from tasting incredible. BBQ is perfect, the chicken, the ribs and brisquit. The sauce is very good, potato salad not to creamy, potatoes great as are the beans. The rolls...well just have one and I dare you to tell anyone that they are not the best you have ever had. The one in Lake Worth is my favorite. Love their Ribs.
I have been eating here since the 1950s. Angelo's was smaller then and still had sawdust on the floor. Now, Angelo's is bigger and the ambience not quite what it was in the earlier days. But, the sliced brisket sandwich cannot be beaten anywhere except, of course, by a sliced brisket sandwic…
6. Smoke Pit
I went to The Smoke Pit for the first time with husband and some family members for a fairly crowded lunch shift. The place is very laidback and casual, with all kinds of paraphernalia on the walls and large flat panel TVs, some displaying sports and one toward the door displaying the security …

The porch area is nice in the summer to sit and drink iced tea. The BBQ is good, but I think nearby Spring Creek in Keller is better. The large trees and comfortable country feel is worth a visit though.
11. The BBQ Ranch
You need to go - you won't be dissapointed - Barbecue is great some of the best i have had. People are great - very friendly it was like we were a guest at their house. Atmosphere is one of a kind must experience.
The ribs are perfect, sauce excellent, good assortment of vegetables, wonderful hot bread, and the staff is always cheerful and friendly. Country music adds to the ambience. The buy one get one free coupon is the best deal in town.

I have been eating here since the 1950s. Angelo's was smaller then and still had sawdust on the floor. Now, Angelo's is bigger and the ambience not quite what it was in the earlier days. But, the sliced brisket sandwich cannot be beaten anywhere except, of course, by a sliced brisket sandwich and a schooner of beer from the tap. There's a lot of really great barbecue in Texas, but nothing beats Angelo's.
This is definitely some of the best bar-b-que I have ever had. After you have had a taste you can't believe how little you have paid for such delicious bbq. The burgers and fries alone are worth coming for...along with the bbq, cold beer, excellent service and great prices no place can beat it. Try this place out, you won't regret it.
