River Valley Pediatric Dentistry

I had been trying for 3 days to change my appointment for my son. Clearly on their website it says they’re open 8-5 Monday through Friday. I left messages on their answering machine for someone to call me back DURING business hours, so I could set up an appointment with the for my sons teeth cleaning. The office manager called me at 4 pm Tuesday evening, and after explaining to her THREE times that I’ve been calling since last Friday (the 15th) trying to speak to someone to change his appointment, she RUDELY said “This is the EMERGENCY LINE, I WILL NOT make an appointment. Our hours are 8-2:30 Monday-Friday, so you will have to call back and make an appointment, because I’m not doing it!” I tried to explain to her that I’ve called from 8 am to 5 pm Monday and Tuesday, and no one answered, that it just rolled over to their answering service. She rudely cut me off, and told me to call back in the morning. So, after I got off the phone with her, I called another dentist, and got him in on Wednesday. My son and I both LOVE this new dentist. After speaking with the dentist, he tells me that River Valley, did unnecessary work on my son. He is now, going to have spacers put in, because there is no room for his grown up teeth to come in. This could have been avoided, had the dentist at River Valley done what was needed to be done. I will NOT EVER recommend this place to anyone.

They have some of the best customer service in the Fort Smith area. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I think the staff is amazing; they are so friendly and helpful, and make sure that patients feel welcomed. It is nice of them to offer some sample toothbrushes and toothpaste for the patients to take home. I never had to doubt their qualifications, their credentials are viewable as you walk through the office. By far one of the best environments to be in!



They also now have bilingual speakers for spanish speaking families.(:
