I am writing a quick review on Holland from a recent vi it to South Florida my family and I made a couple of week ago. In all, I re erved three eparate tran port need with the company over a two week period and they handled all but one of them flawle ly. I would have giv...moreen them a 5 tar review if all three ervice date were flawle . I would have given them a 2 for Holland blowing one of the ervice date . But they get olid 4.5 tar becau e the owner handled what could have been a lou y ituation a profe ionally a po ible. Let' tart with the great: 2 of 3 vi it (#1 FLL to Miami Beach and #3 MIA to FLL) went flawle ly. Driver wa prompt, courteou , friendly, helpful and hi SUV wa pretty potle . Another very po itive thing to note wa the booking with the owner, Han . The information exchange wa incredibly detailed and I thought the pricing wa very fair. la tly, their driver in pick up #2 completely no howed. When I called the 800# early on a SUnday morning, the owner Han picked up and pent the next 15 minute trying to figure out what happened. He wa a apologetic and angry about the ituation a I wa (I am more calm a week later).The bad: obviou ly the mi ed pick up at my hotel for a flight. We did get their in time when hotel coordinate a cab for the five of u . If it were not for Han ' genuine concern and the fact that he cut the pick up #3 bill in half to compen ate me for the mi ed pick up on #2, thi Yelp would have been much wor e (obviou ly). But given the uper high quality experience I had with the initial et up, the follow-up and the exceptional driver (Paul from Chicago), Holland earned a 4 tar from me. Too generou , maybe. But a I am al o in the ervice bu ine , I know that part of cu tomer ati faction excellence i recovery and Han did ju t that.view less

12/12/2013 Am I urpri ed becau e on Tue day of thi week my wife and daughter and I got off a crui e hip to take a taxi to the airport. I left my jacket with my car key and hat and glove in the cab and didn't notice it mi ing until check-in at the airport. With help of...more local county heriff deputy who called the di patcher of the Friendly Checker Cab Co. who put my lo over the radio within a half hour down the road a half mile from the airport the taxi driver wa waving my jacket out of hi window o that anyone mi ing it would notice --I thought pretty mart on hi part.--- the only thing we knew wa that the driver wa from Haiti not being real ure of the taxi company or being able to recognize the driver. He I am quite ure made a pecial trip back to the airport JUST to deliver it. My daughter had taken a cab back to the hip canal and wa able to talk to everal who really wanted to find out who ETC o give the company 6 STARS and the County Sheriff hi wi he for Chri tma . THANKS Friendly Checker CAB Company--be ide the driver wa the mo t courteou and a young family man intere ted in talking etc He apologized to both me and my wife for not checking if we left anything BUT wa entirely my own fault and being in a hurry. My advice i to note the number and name of the cab and even the driver from now on--my daughter found out that people leave even laptop etc in cab and other mean of tran portation. You gave me Lui ' cell phone number, a he wa going to be the driver. The purpo e of thi email i to inform you that Lui wa wonderful! He wa profe ional, plea ant, polite, friendly, organized and made our two young girl (13) and my friend and I feel comfortable and welcomed. He called me early Sunday to verify all information, provided information to me o I could be organized for hi arrival and then, a I a ked, he called me a few minute before he arrived at my hou e. I cannot more trongly ugge t what a wonderful evening we all had. Much of that wa due to the Taylor Swift concert, but much of that wa due to Lui . When I aid to you that you have my future bu ine in our conver ation Saturday (I wa referred to you my party planner,) our interaction with Lui wa o po itive, that my tatement ha become even tronger. I know in bu ine , from experience, that people frequently call or contact an owner of a company olely to complain.
