- Established in 1945 as a nonprofit 23-bed residence for widows, the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital is now become a home to more than 700 seniors and serves over 8,000 community residents annually. It is a full-service nursing and rehabilitation center that offers 24-hour nursing care, independent and senior living, and inpatient and outpatient care and services. Through its special services segment, the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital provides rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as behavioral health and pain management. In addition, the hospital offers specialized care for patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and brain and spinal cord injuries.
