My Name is Dr. Ron Johnson. I am a D.V.M., N.D., & Ph.D. I am also Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (C.V.A.), and have earned a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Surgery. I own or work in several practices. First, for 10 years, I was the Chief of Staff at Florida Veterinary Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where I supervised 65 employees. I have since scaled down to a few practices that are easier to manage. I own a referral practice (problem cases), a house call practice (Mobile Vet), and also Acupuncture and Natural Medicine for Pets, based out of Fort Lauderdale. During the last 5 years, I have been seeing appointments at several Hospitals in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.  Patients can be seen, either as house call clients (Mobile Vet), or at cooperating clinics and hospitals. Because of my education and experience, I practice Integrative Holistic Veterinary Medicine. All calls go through the answering service, (Ft Lauderdale 954-731-2000, Boca Raton 561-361-6464, all other areas 1-800-662-5838) and my head nurse, and I get paged simultaneously. She has 25 yrs of experience, and answers all calls. We are not an emergency service, although it is not unusual for clients to bring in an emergency, when I am working at one of the local hospitals.
