Ordered large sandwich platters for a company meeting. One employee bit into a sandwich and thre was a screw in the meat. When I called Doughboys to complain, the manager (female) very nonchalantly said "Oh, we usually get the staples complaint, but this is the first time we've had a screw complaint". She was not concerned at all, and when I told her she was lucky the employee didn't break a tooth, she then offered me a discount on my next order. However, at first she asked if they could replace the sandwich! We had already finished eating, and that sandwich was thrown away I told her. She wanted the screw back so she could try to find out where it came from. The food is usually very good and the service has been good. But with the attitude this "manager" displayed regarding what could have been a very serious incident, we may never use them again.
Had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was good pizza with a good crust. I didn't have anything else except a beer. Service was fine, although there was hardly anyone else there then. I'd go back next time I'm in town.

It is unbelievable how STUPID some people can be. I have called DuhBoys Pizza on a number of occasions and every time, I get get to talk to someone who cannot take simple orders. Point in fact; I called yesterday (7.6.11) to order a ""meatza-pizza"" of which the order taker didn't understand. So, I rephrased it calling it a ""meat lover's pizza."" Again, the order drone had no idea what I was talking about. So I asked, do you have... and I ran down the meat selection that they had, to have on my pie. Then we come to the part where I want a little extra sauce on the pie. I swear to God.. the order drone said, ""well, our pizza cook doesn't know how to put extra sauce on the pizza."" I asked to speak to the cook and the order drone said, ""the cook doesn't want to talk to you,"" Then I told the drone that I wanted to eat in and he said, ""well, you'll just have to order it when you come in.""\r I will NEVER spend another dollar in this establishment. Too bad, because the pies are pretty good. I guess with down a economy, only the dumbest of the dumb wind up working at Doughboys.

I was down with some family on vacation from NY, and the hotel recommended Doughboys. We went for lunch on the way to the beach, and it was incredible; food, service, and all. We shared the old world pizza and some garlic rolls, and were blown away. We had doughboys again before for dinner the night before we left. Give them a call or stop by!

i've been eating doughboys for several years and i cannot believe anyone could make even a slightly negative comment. the food is the highest quality, the portions are huge, pricing is fair, and the staff is very helpful and considerate. i have had just a few occasions over my long doughboys-eating tenure where i had to call back to resolve an issue, and the problem was corrected quickly and efficiently. doughboys deserves only the highest praise, definitely give them a shot. oh, and just order the margarita/old world style pizza if you get lost in the gigantic menu!

If you're hungry, there's no better place than doughboys. every time i go or have it delivered i'm pleasantly surprised by the size of the order compared to the price, and i've been eating there for years! to hell with domino's or papa jon's cheap garbage. per dollar you get just as much food at doughboys and it's infinitely better. you cant miss at this place.

i just tried doughboys the other day for the first time, and i can't believe i hadn't eaten there before living in ft lauderdale. when i got home i had to google the place, and i couldn't believe its been here so long (longer than i've been alive). i also couldn't believe some of the harsh reviews people made. it's my new favorite place to eat now by far.

I've been eating here for years, and never have I had a bad meal. The food is of such high quality, and you get great quantity for your money as well. It's truly an outstanding value. I'm an adventurous eater, so I enjoy trying something different often. I've loved everything from the pizza, to the subs, to the pasta, to the desserts. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding Italian at a fair price.

My basketball team was looking for a good place to eat as a team, and coach was really pushing Doughboys. We gave it a shot, and it was incredible. I keep going back with my friends for that margarita pizza, it's amazing.

I was craving something beyond the usual sandwich fare from my Ft Lauderdale hotel, and ordered dinner from Dough Boys, tantalized by the description of the veggie calzone, which promised to be loaded with broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and garlic. I was told delivery would be ""about 50 minutes."" One hour and twenty minutes later, my order arrived stone cold to the touch. The calzone was a swimmy, disgusting mess that was about 95% ricotta. I could have fit all the vegetables into a shot glass. The whole wheat crust was dry and tough. The marinara was swimming in oil, and tasted like the cheapest canned tomato sauce you could buy in the market. \r \r I had also ordered a side salad with ""NO OLIVES,"" and ironically, it arrived swimming in olives. \r \r When I phoned the restaurant back to let them know how their food had arrived, I was told that they would send me out a new one, and I could return the uneated portion to the driver. Unwilling to wait at least another hour for what should have been done right the first time, I asked them to credit my card for the calzone. I was told, ""that's not our policy."" \r \r With all the pizza places in the Ft Lauderdale area, there is NO WAY I will ever give Dough Boys my business again. Shame on them.

I was introduced to Doughbys about 6 years ago when down here visiting. I became an instant fan of the large portions of excellent food and good prices. When I moved here about 2 years ago, I continued to eat at Doughboys even though the portions had gotten smaller and the prices had been raised! However, after my last experience with Doughboys I will never eat or order food from there again! I would rather drive to Commercial and get Correlli's then have Doughboys!\r \r After spending almost 15 minutes trying to place and order of a Pepperoni Stromboli and a Chicken Parm sub (easy right?!) to a kid who had no clue what he was doing...I recieved a Pepperoni Calzone and my Chicken Parm sub was not prepared correctly. \r I tried calling to explain the mistake only to be put on hold several times. I gave up and called back the next day during a slower time to speak with one of the managers who had no idea how to handle the situation and said she would pass it along to the owner, who would then get in touch with me.\r That was 3 weeks ago and not one word back. I suppose that they make enough money to not have to be concerned about their customer's satisfaction and can afford to LOSE loyal customers even during these terrible economical times!

The Dough Boys location in Pembroke Pines wouldn't accept Entertain]ment Coupons to get a free Pizza in spite of the coupon clearly reading ""Buy One Get One Free, Up to $7)""\r \r Hey Dough Boys, these coupons are intented for your own benefit to bring more customers in , not to scare them away!

I eat at or order from Dough Boys at least twice a month and have for the last 10 years. The food is always fresh and tasty and the portions are huge. Their pizza, garlic rolls and creamy garlic dressing are some of my favorites. Moreover, whenever I make special requests, it's never a problem. Granted, this is not high-end fine dining (it's located in a shopping strip), but it's a great replacement for making dinner at home! The only real con (and it's somewhat minor) is that the wait staff doesn't always get the orders right. But, when brought to their attention, they apologize and correct the situation without any further hassle.

I was just in the Fort Lauderdale area this past Memorial Weekend with 3 friends of mine. We are all from New York City. I had placed a delivery order for 1 medium barbecue chicken pizza, 1 small old fashioned italian pizza, 1 order of buffalo wings, 1 large greek salad, & 1 grilled chicken wrap. The order total came to $60, plus a mandatory $3 delivery charge. Which I don't understand since we tipped the delivery guy an additional $6. No problem, he spotted us by the pool, & was quite pleasant. When we opened up our bags, we were missing some items: 1) no grilled chicken on the pizza, 2) no buffalo wings, but we did get the blue cheese & celery, 3) 1 fork for 4 people to share a large, family style greek salad, 4) no plateware or napkins. Now, we called back Dough Boys to inform them, but they became quite uncaring & rude. We had stated that we wanted to switch our plain pizza for a barbecue chicken one. They refused & became very irate with me. They did not want to replace nor swap pizzas with us. They felt it was our problem, & that they're not going to accommodate us in any way. The only point of offering a barbecue pizza is to serve it with meat, chicken, or fish/shrimp. Also, I might add, they forgot to give us our buffalo wings, which we paid for. And forget about the plateware and silverware. The owner, RANDY, and JOHN the store manager, have both declined to call me nor offer me any incentives in reconsidering to ever eat at their establishment ever again. It's truly sad when 4 New Yorkers, which were all NYC Italians, tell you that a local Fort Lauderdale Pizzeria is SHADY and NO GOOD. I've filed a compaint with the Bettter Business Burreau and Consumer Affairs with both DOUGH BOY locations as well. SHAME ON YOU DOUGH BOYS!!!

this place charges a delivery charge without telling you first. It's $3 dollars and then they ask you if you want to tip the driver. I asked what the delivery charge was for and they said it doesnt go to the driver. So they are charging you a fee for your business. I hope that $3 dollars is worth the future business you will lose from me.

While this place may not be as great as NY pizza, every thing combines to make it as close as you're going to find in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The sauce, crust and toppings are all high quality! Their menu is also huge(100+ items). They even have fat free mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, and a wheat crust available. I tried four different places during my one week stay before I came across this one and while some had good crust, sauce or toppings, none came close to doughboys when combined. My only complaint was the grittiness of the cannoli filling. This is a must try for all XNYKRS who long for a taste of home!\r \r

all tourists here, no locals. Ordered pasta and it came out pasty, sauce is bland - probably out of a can. Friends with me had pizza, looked better but place has look of an old diner. You can do better.
