Big C's Downtown Pizzeria

Have been ordering my favorite Mediterrenean pizza for over 20 years from Downtown. Have always loved it! (18 inch - $32 delivered) Last 2 times have been barely edible. Just a big ole pile of slop. I asked for crispy crust and very little sauce, but it was swimming in an Olympic pool. Had to practically eat it out of a bowl with a spoon. Figured it was new kitchen staff.
I was craving my favorite pizza once again and decided to call and ask for a manager to explain specifically why I was unhappy the last two times and maybe I could get the pizza I've had and loved for so long.
I spoke to JOHN and barely got 5 words in when he took over and told me how I WAS WRONG and um... excuse me... how chicken wings are sloppy when you have them delivered?! Wait! Hold on! Yes... I'm sure I didn't order wings. Couldn't get another word in. Then he said, ""I'm very busy and have to go. If you would like to carry on this conversation we will have to talk later"".
Hold on... I'm a chef. I know how a pizza should be. Seems to me if I've been a customer for over 20 years I might be able to get the same pizza I've had all these years without a battle.
Also spoke to Chris.... very, very nice and helpful. He convinced me to order tonight and he would personally make sure my order was correct.
Owners of Downtown Pizzaria....

PLEASE Don't order this pizza. If anything ever goes wrong, it is company policy t o not refund your money no matter what. The deliery driver threatened to fight my boyfriend and the pizza was not only nasty but cold. Josh, the manager, is inflexible and doesn't truly care about customer satisfaction.l Please please don't waste your time or money on this company.

I called from the Hampton Inn FLL Airport. The lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. The delivery driver was also very polite and even brought paper plates ect. All I ordered was a small pizza and it was very good and just enough for one person. I will order again if I'm back in the area sometime. The delivery time was good, about 30 min.

Called Downtown Pizzeria from the Hampton Inn at 2 am with little information about the food. The woman who took my order was very friendly, thorough, and patient as she answered all my questions. The spaghetti was only 3.75 and a very large portion in addition to tasting fresh. The chicken caeser salad was very fresh as well, with a large portion of chicken and croutons that seemed homemade. The delivery time was quoted at 45 minutes but came in less than 20 minutes. $3 delivery charge, very reasonable.

Great food and service, the best thing is that there open till 4 am., and they deliver. I was up late and ordered a pizza and a hot sub it was soooooooooo good. It was the closeest thing to NY pizza that I'v had since I moved down here. Do yourself a favor try there pizza.
This place is amazing!!! The Pizza is the best I've had since I left New York, I came upon this place about 15 years ago and I have been a customer ever since.
I have tried almost everything on the menu and I must say what a selection they have, you can select from a wide variety of foods like burgers, fries, baked ziti, lasanga, chicken wings, greek salad,etc.etc. and they even deliver until 4 a.m.!!!
Three cheers for Downtown Pizza
Pros: Best pizza, late night delivery
Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a little longer but it is well worth the wait.
