My family and I were on vacation in the Florida area a week ago when my Fusion started acting real crazy! #1 Don't know why I decided to drive my personal vehicle for this vacation from VA to FL versus rent, but took my chances anyway. Well, anyways, we were on our way and broke down in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After consulting the web, I ran across Sawgrass Ford. My wife jumped on the phone and got a Cameron whom answered, he was able to hook us up with a cheap tow company that accepted our insurance. Being that it was 2P we did not know what to do. After getting the car towed about 25 miles to the dealearship, they immediately took stress off our shoulders by not making us wait, pulled our vehicle straight back and did an analysis on it. It ended up being a sensor replacement in which the guys HAD IN STOCK at an affordable price and they replaced it quickly. For a friendly, fast and affordable service on your vehicle, I recommend them to the fullest. They even had a LOT of nice vehicles on the lot as well! BTW!!!! NOT ONLY DID THEY FIX THE SENSOR, BUT ALSO CLEANED THE VEHICLE!
As a customer since the early 80's (not too often fortunately) I must say Abernathy's is still by far the finest body/paint shop around. Earlier this year my classic old Jaguar got a complete makeover... it went from a dull crackled and faded gold to a glossy better-than-factory new and clean white. From bumper to bumper she is perfect now, no more rust, dings, scratches! My neighbors really do believe we have a new car...and I'm thrilled with the results. Abernathy's is a family owned local business (which we all need to support more of) and their friendly service and professional workmanship, highest quality products (those used on Ferrari and Jaguar) and prompt schedules make the experience delightful. If you find are in need of body/paint work due to collision, Tom's 31 years of experience dealing with insurance companies as YOUR advocate will make all the difference when it comes to having your repairs done right. Don't waste time anywhere else, go to Abernathy's. The shop we trust.
Mission accomplished! After bouncing from dealer to dealer, we finally found this dealer that didn't want to stick us with a bunch of dealer fees. We called and spoke with somebody in their Internet sales department before driving down there. They quoted us a price over the phone before I wasted any time. Low and behold, for the first time there was no bait and switch. They had the car in stock and when it came time to do the paperwork, the prices I was quoted over the phone all matched. While that all sounds easy, that wasn't the case with the previous dealerships that we dealt with. The previous dealerships would tell you one price over the phone and when you got there, either the car didn't exist or they added additional fees that they didn't tell me over the phone. Sawgrass Ford didn't pull any of these tactics. They were honest people to do business with and when it comes time to buy another car, we will definitely be coming back.
