I've never experienced anything like Yellow Cap in Fort Collins. Incompetence is way to mild for this, wannebe Taxi company. We waited in the hospital for a cab about 2.5 hrs., around midnight. After waiting that long we called again and were told it would take another hour before a cab could come. THREE & HALF hours and still no cab. We finally got a ride from a neighbor. Fort Collins isn't a small town but a city with nearly 200,000 and therefor should have a descent cab company. Can you imagine going out for a drink or 2 and just before closing you call for a cab that would arrive in 3 hours if your lucky ? Then the question comes up "is this one of the reason for so many DUI's"?
My mother who is in a wheelchair all the time was at dialysis, the company placed a call at 6 for her to be picked up, the driver was off of work and, they had no ride. My poor mom say for 3 and a half hours waiting until we had to physically pick her up and put her into a car which was hard on her she can't stand on her own...4 hrs at dialysis 3+ hrs waiting to go home. Terribly disappointed in this service. People with disabilities deserve better.if we could afford a wheelchair accesible car we would get one. I rate them no stars but this won't let me do that.
Well, they lived up to all the horrible reviews I read before trying to book them. I called at 3:45pm on a Saturday to schedule a 5:15-5:30pm pickup. They took my phone number so the driver could call me when he arrived. At 5:40pm after not hearing/seeing anything, I called dispatch back to find out whether they were sending someone or whether I needed to find another ride, the dispatcher was unable to find any record of my booking the ride request. Fortunately, I was able to call a friend to take me to the gala that I was supposed to attend. Taxi service in Fort Collins is horrible and we desperately need Uber to add service in this area. As another reviewer put it, I would rate Yello Cab 0 stars, if that were an option.
After having a medical procedure this morning, I had to leave my car at the hospital and decided to call a cab to take me to the hospital to pick it up after the anesthesia wore off. So, I called Yellow Cab to make a reservation to do that. The rude woman on the phone said I could not make a reservation for being picked up at the corner convenience store, so I asked to be picked up at my home. She did not have my common, well known street name (County Road 38E) in her system and wouldn't even spend any time to figure out what the computer's problem was but sent me to the voice mail of "someone who could help me." Really? This is how they do business? I'd rather take the bus and will. Good grief. Terrible service!
