Animal Clinic Of Fort Atkinson

I found this place 13 yrs ago when I lived in Jefferson and although I now live in Janesville, I continue to take my fur babies to this clinic. They are kind, caring and can always get me in if I have an emergency during the day! I deal with stray and feral cats and they dont push unnecessary procedures on them and the cost is usually half of what other places cost! The staff is also wonderful, kind and caring! Always professional! Highly reccomend!

Extremely unprofessional clinic with no regard for communication or empathy for their clients. I was told that my dog had an aggressive form of bone cancer and only had several months to live. She was put on several costly medications which I continued to fill (mostly through their clinic, some privately) for ten months. It was only when going back in for an issue that I thought could be related, that it was discovered that she never had bone cancer and that the two senior veterinarians at the clinic and reviews the original X-rays the DAY AFTER they were taken and disagreed with the diagnosis, but never ensured we were told. I wasted hundreds and hundreds of dollars at their clinic through that time, and put my dogs liver at risk by doing so. They refuse to reimburse even a portion of what a spent, while also leaving me with the cost of blood work to assess her liver. I was a client here for around 7 years. Dr. Neff stated to me that he “felt good about how they handled things”, which tells me that this will happen again to someone else.

Sadly, when faced with dying animal in intense discomfort/pain on a Sunday, we were told first that they would get a message to one of the Vets. When my wife explained that our regular vet (who did return our call from Florida) was out of town, she was suddenly told that no Veterinarians were available to be reached. He was "kind" enough to refer us to a place that was almost 30 miles away. Thank you for your "compassion" and "help" during a time or urgent need, or better stated. Thanks for NOTHING.

Very nice, knowledgeable doctor who had my cat, as well as my wallet in consideration. My senior cat (rescue) had not been to a vet recently to my knowledge, and I was very pleased that I was not pushed to do or pay for anything unnecessary for her. Desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. I will be returning!

I have been going to this animal clinic for more than ten years, Dr Ness has came in especially for our families pet neccessities. They are the most caring people I have come across. This morning he came early because my beloved "Dre" was paralyzed, sad to say we had to let him rest. Through this difficult time, he and the loving staff were there for our sorrowed family.

Please let it be known that they are the best at what they do!!
