My wife and I were strictly Mikuni only people until we happened to be craving sushi and pulled up next to Wasabi. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the previous negative comments because the owners have always been very polite and friendly people. From the very first time we stopped by they were more than accommodating and went out of their way to spark conversation and recommended their favorite entrées. We were hooked very quickly. We have honestly been to Mikuni’s twice in the last year since we have discovered Wasabi and probably eat there once a week. The food is excellent, the ambiance is like no other sushi restaurant, and the service is top notch. Sit at the sushi bar if you go and ask for Owen or Anthony. They are super polite and remember what we like and make different appetizers for us each time and don’t even charge us. It is true that the owner cooks at the bar and also likes to drink and hang out with the patrons. He is more than polite and I could never see him being rude to the very customers that are filling his tables and paying his bills. Long story short, I would highly recommend Wasabi if you like great sushi, great ambiance, and friendly staff. Lastly, for serving such a high quality of sushi they are very moderately priced. Rolls are between 8 and 15 dollars. Good stuff!
everything so good at suishin sushi, from food to service. Highly recommanded the blue ravine roll and their peper fin. sushi are fresh as just fish got out the water. I tried the blue fin tuna toro last weekend is amazing. so many good stuff they have in the menu i can't wait to go back. Definitely the best sushi in Folsom or Sacramento.
We have had a lot of large work luncheons and retirement parties here. They have always been so accommodating even on short notice. The food looks amazing and tastes even better. The colors and presentation of all their sushi dishes make it more enjoyable.
