December 31, 2013 after test driving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and a 2014 Jeep Cherakee my wife liked them so much and the friendly sales service she decided to buy both vehilcles. The purchasing experience was easy. Like any new care purchase it takes a little time to get all the paperwork ready. The finance department was very friendly and professional. The dealer insured that we were provided the best possible incentives and interest rate. There were no hidden charges and everthing about the vehicles was explained in detail before we drove off the lot in our new vehicles. We live in Alexandria, VA and were visiting Efrid Chrysler Dodge in Florance, SC, The vehicle offer was much better than offers we had received in Virginia. Because of the great offer and oustanding service we decided to make the purchased and drive the two new vehilces back to Virginia. Because of snow that fell soon as we returned we have spent most of our travel in the new 2014 Jeep Cherakee. I am very satisfied with the Jeep Cherakee. My wife and I like everything about it. This morning the Jeep said it would travel 447 miles on a tank of gas. My wife drives 198 miles round tip twice a week to work and she is averaging 35 mpg. Very stylish, well assesorized. I cannot think of any more extras that could be added. I am very satisfied with both purchases. My check engine light came on and they were the closest dealer that my truck would let me make it. I spent the night in Florence and got to the service department as soon as they opened. They said they were booked solid for 2 weeks out and that the diesel mechanic was still on vacation. I told them I was from way out of state and trying to get to Sea World for our sons 1st birthday. They did everything they could to get my truck up and running. Unfortunately the part that I needed there was 118 back ordered in the US. They were very helpful in tracking a part down for me and it was 2 more hours south. They went through my truck and said I should have no problem getting there. Richard in the parts department was extremely kind and helpful, he called the other dealer and made absolute certainty that they had the part and asked them to put my name on it and that I was on my way. Christine in the service department was just wonderful, she kept me up to date on everything and told me they were doing everything they could to get me on the road. I dealt with 2 of the mechanics and they both were extremely nice and courteous and very polite. If I didn't live so far away I would continue to do business with them wether it was servicing my truck or buying a new one
I have been a customer of Palmetto Nissan for the past 10 years and have purchased 4 vehicles from them during this period of time. I have never had anything except pleasant and satisfying experiences when making a purchase or having service preformed. In the case of "Amyogle", a lot of time it has to do with your attitude when you're trying to get help from someone. Like the old saying "You get more with honey than vinegar". Everyone at the dealership has always been courteous and bent over backwards for me, from the GM to the clean-up guy in the back. I have nothing but praise for the staff and management at Palmetto Nissan, they all get a 10 in my book. Many other dealerships could learn a thing or two from the way Palmetto Nissan is operated. This is truly a 5-Star Nissan Dealership!
