Overall

Walker County Water & Sewerage on Happy Valley Rd. Flintstone, GA is the WORST company in the world to do business with. They have not sent me a bill in 2 months and on top of that they are liars and thieves. They send me NO bill, NO phone call so I call them and they say I have until this date to pay bill then turn around and cut off my water before that date then lied and said they didn't tell me I had until that date, lied and said they called then charge me $60 extra to turn water back on. This company is a rip off. I'm going to print my phone record to prove they didn't call me like they lied and said. I'm only giving a star because it makes you this place doesn't deserve any stars at all.

Horrible service!

I am SO TIRED of this company. Our water is turned off every single month because we don't receive a bill or phone call. The people that work there have absolutely no customer service what so ever. I am fined over $60 a month because they can't get their act together. Absolute BS!

Seriously?? I've lived here almost 6 months, and this is the 2nd time the water has gone out in my neighborhood. And you can't get in touch with ANYONE when you call to find out what is going on. And the reviews below me are correct, you get the bill, have about a week to MAIL it in, or pay a $3.00 charge to pay online, or you get hit with late fees. This company really needs to get with the times... <br>10/30/12 And the water is not working in my neighborhood... AGAIN.

These folks need to be dragged...

These folks need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. A county with 68,000 residents and when (not if) your water goes out on Saturday there's nobody to answer the phone, just a recording telling you to call another number. That number - no answer and voice mail is full. Yet another reason I'm looking for a home somewhere besides Walker County.

Likew living in a third world counrty

I mean like really, you have to either mail or come to the office and pay your bill?! This is the only major bill that I have to pay like that! AND the water goes out AT LEAST 1 time a quarter if not once a month!

ups and downs

I have very little problems with the water company. I live a couple of miles behind it. I also have had problems with a price variation regarding my bill. But I thought it had to do with the way the contractor had read the meters, This has been a problem in the past. I believe they have changed the contractors, my bill has been fairly average for the past year or so. I have thought about reading it myself but I never catch the meter reader as they stop. Sometimes I dought they even read my meter. I too wish I could pay on line. But I'm one that don't want to get too dependent on the internet. If the internet world crashes , how would we pay our bills without paperwork ? Myself, I would like to keep the older ways on the back burner.

worst utility company I have ever dealt with

I couldnt imagine that there is a worse utility company out there. The bill arrives after the late charges are already added. You cannot pay online, over the phone, or even at the company with a credit or debit card. I have moved several times since the tornados in april 2011 and there is a very noticeable price difference in varies areas. My bill has gone from $60 in one neighborhood to $15 in another with no change in household use. I have called the walker county commissioner about other issues with this awful company but it turns out the directer of the water company works side by side with the commissioner as county planner. This company is corrupt and will charge inappropriate fees to turn on your water and if you miss a payment, beware, there is no grace period.

PATHETIC

This is the MOST OUT-OF-DATE company I have EVER had experience with. It may be time to move out of the &quot;&quot;pony express&quot;&quot; era and into the 21st century. This is a sad, pathetic excuse for a business. If it would let me rank it a 0, that's the score I would give.

tired of not having water

We are sooo tired of being without water for hours at a time!!! We are on the water main nearest the office so our water gets turned off anytime there is a problem, which is quite often. No private company could be 'out' this often and survive.

Overall
bill pay online

I wish I could pay my bill online. it is an inconvenience to go to the office to pay and I don't always catch the mailman or have a stamp or something. paying online is just better for me. I think it would be better for a lot of people.
