Even tho I have to recommend the filet mignon in order to get a tender steak, we loved the experience overall.
We've been there twice when visiting Flagstaff, and for the most part it is the waitstaff and their musical talents that won us over. The food was good, even tho the steaks could have been less chewy. I also know from experience that even the best steakhouses don't ALWAYS have the most tenders cuts ... so, ya never know, the next time we go to Black Bart's the steak could be ""melt-in your mouth"" tender.
