Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Hand pain in patients can be the result of a condition that has developed over time, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, or of a recent injury from an accidental fall, such as a fracture. In some cases, and if not detected early, conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, pressure caused by repetitive motions on the median nerve, may create severe pain in the fingers, thumb, hand, and forearm. The most frequent causes of pain can be related to a condition that has transpired over time.

General Surgery
Dr. Torey Botti is a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine physician. He obtained his bachelor of science degree in biology from the Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, and his medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, New York. After medical school, Dr. Botti completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Botti chose to undergo additional specialty training in the form of a sports medicine fellowship at OASIS Sports Medicine in San Diego, California. He joined Flagstaff Bone & Joint in 2006.
Orthopedics
Dr. Hall completed his medical education and surgical internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He then completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of California San Diego Department of Orthopedic Surgery. After his residency, Dr. Hall completed fellowship training in spine surgery at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center.

Jennifer Almendarez, MS, is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) who joined Flagstaff Bone & Joint in 2012 after relocating to Arizona from Connecticut. She worked with The Spine Team at Flagstaff Bone & Joint for five years and then began caring for patients with orthopaedic injuries and conditions of the hip and knee. She works with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that fulfill their physical activity and lifestyle goals and orchestrates pre and postoperative care for patients undergoing knee or hip replacement surgery. Jennifer is also skilled in multiple guided injection techniques.

Physical Therapy
Patients receive an extensive workup to determine the cause of their pain. The assessment may include EMG/nerve conduction studies, diagnostic injection therapy, physical therapy, or additional imaging.
