        Founded in 1948 by Jerome (Jerry) Gloss aka. JJ and his wife Jeanne in his mother-in-laws chicken house.The Business has been run in 7 locations since its founding in Reisterstown. Our second home was in Pimlico in the late 50`s when we first became involved with MAYTAG Co. as Maytag Service of Baltimore. Our third move came in 1964 when we moved to our long term home on Reisterstown Rd in Owings Mills. After 22 years serving the Baltimore Metro area at that location we again moved to a new store front in Finksburg. We have since expanded to our current locationwalnut park plazain Finksburg, where we display a full line of Quality Maytag,Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid& Amana Products.With Maytag's acquisition by Whirlpool Corporation in 2005 we have again expanded our product selection to include the current WHIRLPOOL lineup of Laundry & Kitchen Appliances.We service what we sell & try to provide the products that will best serve YOUR long term needs. We provide Quality Factory service for those products that we have sold, and provide out of warranty service & support on all US built laundry & kitchen products regardless of where they were purchased.We look forward working with you on all of your Appliance needs.         I have purchased appliances here and used their repair service for years! Repairmen are courteous and punctual. For my latest repair, the part was ordered right from my kitchen! Return visit to replace part was at warp speed. This is the only appliance repair service I use. I highly recommend!!!

        Awful customer service. I had an appt for repair of my dishwasher on Tuesday, February 23, 2015. The appt was set up by Whirlpool to make a repair under warranty. JJ Gloss changed the window for repair to 10-3 pm from 8-12 quoted by Whirlpool. They never called to confirm the appt the preceding day (Monday) as I was told by Whirlpool. Instead, I called them. The man on the phone at 6:30pm on Monday told me that the part was not in and it had to be ordered. He then told me that he wanted cash on delivery despite Whirlpool's assertion that the part and service was covered under warranty. The man was rude on the phone. I cancelled my appt and now have another appt with a different company to fix the repair under warranty. If you need a repair of an appliance, go ANYWHERE ELSE. Good luck!

        Just purchased new kitchenAid appliances from them. Top notch product knowledge & they really took the time to listen to what my wife and I wanted. I couldn't believe they had everything in stock at their warehouse. Pricing was also much better than expected from a smaller mom & pop type store (they are still out there). In talking to the sales person, we learned that JJ Gloss was the founder and the store is now owned & managed by his daughter and son-in-law. They have apparently been around for quite some time, and judging by the price,service and selection, we have found our appliance person for all our future appliance needs.
