General Info: Where it All Began - 31 years! "Time Flies" when you enjoy what you're doing and love your work! The year 1978 Gloria decided her dancing ability had been on hold too long. She opened her studio with 4 students and taught tap in the family room of her home. She quickly renovated her basement where she taught lessons for three years. Daria entered the picture in 1979. In the summer of 2010, we will celebrate our 22nd Annual Dance Camp. Students learn routines in ballet, jazz & tap. Craft creations are made such as outdoor mosaics and newspaper domes. We have toured the Muny, The Fox, & Laumier Sculpture Park. We have floated the Big River at St Francious State Park and enjoy a day of swimming & playing. The past two years we have had an auction for Pony Bird. For 25 cents a ticket, dancers bid on special items of their choice. Over $200 has been donated to Pony Bird from this fun activity. We also began a dance camp for our younger dancers the summer of 2000. The camp is geared for 4, 5, & 6 year olds. Summer of 2010 we held a "Princess Camp" for our younger dancers. In 4 days these young ballerinas learned 2 ballet routines, created a rhinestone stubbed tiara and performed for their family members.
