I was a student in 2014 for the MA and got hired on from my externship at ECMA. Reviews are always helpful to read. Some can be postive and others can be negative. Orientations are always a good thing to do so you can see if any school is the right fit for a student.

Lupee don't you work at this school? I remember a girl named Lupee (with 2 e's) doing my orientation. I should have read the reviews on this place before even wasting my time or gas going there. There were kids running around, a baby crying and whoever the lady was in the front office was cursing and talking really loudly. What a joke!!!

Do not waste your time and money going to training academy 4 u. They make promises that are not true and that they do not intend to keep. I am a current student on extern and they claim that they have so many sites to send you to for extern and keep you nearby your home. Well I'm here to tell you that it is all a bunch of bull. Whenever you call to ask for help when you have a problem with your extern they always tell you to stick it out and promise that they will work on finding you a new office. After several attempts to contact them I finally spoke to the owner and her only solution was, " well you can call around yourself and get a phone number and call me back with the information and I will call them for you". WELL HELLO, I CAN JUST DO IT ALL MYSELF, LIKE ISN'T IT YOUR JOB, ISN'T THIS WHAT I PAID FOR??? BUT I GUESS WHEN I STILL OWED MONEY YOU WERE NICE AND CONSIDERATE...BUT...... ONCE I PAID IN FULL BECAUSE I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF BEING HARASSED IT'S LIKE I DONT EVEN EXIST ANYMORE. NOW IM STUCK DRIVING OVER 50 MINUTES IN TRAFFIC TO EXTERN TO A PLACE THAT DOESN'T EVEN TEACH ME ANYTHING. DO NOT WAT YOUR TIME HERE BECAUSE IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Last week I was a current medical student at this school. It was a total joke! Our teacher quit and they had the owner's daughter teaching us. She is a dental hygienist and didn't help us with anything. We were suppose to be reviewing for our certification exam but when we would ask Mrs. Meeks she would say "I don't know anything about medical I do dental". Then we were scheduled to be in class from8:30-4:30 but instead we were dismissed at noon. They are so unprofessional. the class could hear the owner and the man who sits at the front cursing and talking about needing to get money from texas workforce. What really made me mad is how more than half of our class failed the certification exam and they told us we would have to pay again to retake it. I don't think as many of us would fail if we would've had a review. Then they want to post on their school facebook the few that passed their test. First of all, its a certification test not a State Board. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING TO TRAINING ACADEMY 4 U, LLC. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANYTHING THEY SAY. Half of my class was cash pay and they told us we could put $1000 down and pay $100 weekly until we paid our balance off. Then the week before they called us out of class one by one and told us we had to pay. We were so stressed trying to come up with last minute money and getting ready for a test we didn't get to study or review on. HORRIBLE experience!

Do not waste your time and money going to this "school". They make promises that are not true and that they do not intend to keep. They do not help with job placement (as advertised) and once you complete the certification, they will not return your calls/e-mails. Also, the certificate you get from attending their programs will only land you a part-time job. Save your money and hassle!

I attended this school in 2008 and if it wasn't for the education I received there I would still be a waitress making less than minimum wage. I never considered myself college material. I went one day to that little country town and went to check that school out. It is a small school but the hands on was great. I was hired from my extern office and am proud to say I'm still here working and loving my new career. I've had many friends and cousins attend the school after I did and not one of them have anything negative to say. They are all working in the field. The school really changed our lives. I know they have a 10 week dental and 21 week medical but I've never heard of classes starting every 3 weeks LOL as someone posted. My cousin just enrolled in this new class that starts next week and she is looking forward to starting her new career. I would highly recommend this school to everyone. The program is short and prepares you for the skills you will need to start your new career. I have friends that graduated from that school too and are working all around Ellis County. Ask doctor and nurses and I'm sure you will find at least one graduate from that school employed at every office. :)

Horrible school

This school is nothing but money hungry. They put in classes every three weeks since the government is now paying for the whole 13,000$ per each student attending . You get so behind bc the teacher has to go back and teach everything to the new people its a complete waste of money .for the few of is who were not told about the workforce paying the tuition we are out 13 grand. They say your in lab and class 50/50 of the time. We'll that is a complete LIE. You are in the lab 20% of the time you are enrolled there! Not a good school at all,you will not learn what you need to be a medical assistant.

This school is nothing but a joke!!

I graduated from Training Academy for Dental Assistants in 2005 the 10 week course, and never worked a day after graduating! I made alot of friends in this school that was the only thing good that came out of it, well we all still keep in touch and yet only 2 people got jobs at their externs. The deal is the school owner/instructor (Michelle) was supposed to help us all find jobs after Graduating and she failed to do so. Michelle would never return phone calls about jobs and if she had any temp. openings she would only give it to the ones that she favored. I really.... really tried hard to get a job I would get alot of interviews but once they realized I went to TADA they kind of shook their heads, it's pretty sad Michelle herself was a former Dental Assistant and yet other doctors doesn't have a good opinon about her either. Well Long story short I spent $3600 dollars on a loan and now its in collections due to the fact I don't have a job to pay it back! So I hope this review will change your mind about this school go to a real trade school (a Known one) not some knock off like this one it might be a little bit more expensive but at least you'll get what you paid for!
