My wife and I had our wedding’s rehearsal dinner at Thyme this past weekend. We reserved their private room months in advance and had 26 people attend the dinner. I had already pre-selected the appetizer selections and within about 20 minutes after our initial arrival the appetizers were brought to the tables. The fried calamari was cooked perfectly and their marinara dipping sauce was some of the best I have ever tasted. Shortly thereafter the soup and salads came out. The Minestrone Soup received many, many compliments from our guests as to its heartiness and blend of vegetables and spices. By this time just about everyone was buzzing as to how great the food was and it felt as if there was an eagerness in the air to see how the main entrees were going to be compared to the excellent food thus far. The clear majority of our guests ordered the Chicken Marsala with the Swordfish Picatta coming in a close second. Both dishes were delicious and just about all the couples were taste testing each other's entrees and there was some debate as to which one was better, with the consensus being each was delicious in its own right. I really have to say how impressed I was at this point. She and I would move from table to table so we could mingle with all of our guests and each time we sat down the first thing someone would say when we came over would be in reference to the food. When the desserts came out it was almost a given amongst our guests that they would be equally as good as their predecessors and they were. The cheesecake was light and fluffy and the strawberries in the zabaglione were large and very sweet. And regarding their staff; Mardie, the restaurant manager that I interacted with to set everything up was an absolute pleasure to work with. The wait and service staff were all very pleasant and unobtrusive; and I honestly can't recall my drink ever coming close to running out. I'd highly recommend Thyme to anyone and whenever my wife and I visit Amelia Island in the future I can guarantee that this restaurant will be one that we dine at each and every time. Many thanks to all those a Thyme for making our rehearsal dinner a remarkable and memorial event!

I went to The surf last night and my server was Crystal, she was very respondant, quick and so Poliet to me and my family. They had Live Entertainment and my kids loved it! they were up dancing hand having a great time with us, I recomend coming to this amazing resturant, if you want a laid back island experience
Quick service, excellent food, excellent value, and lots of selection. Broiled available on every selection. The staff had zero personality especially the server and there's no atmosphere but a great place for a family at the beach.
