Amelia Island Animal Hospital Resort & Lodge

I have been going to this vet for several years. I came to purchase a resupply of medications for my dogs monthly dose of flea/tick and heart worm medication. After following the coves-19 protocols I finally got an assistant to come outside and talk with me. They said that my dog needed a heart worm test before the medication could be issued. OK they took the dog inside and performed the test. When they brought the dog back they then said that he was lacking some shots (not rabies or anything required) and they would not sell me the medication until I had paid for these shots and an annual exam. I was not in a position to pay for both the exam and the medication at this time. So I left with nothing. I guess this establishment needs the income so badly they have to extort it from their customers. The next day my wife called them and after being put on hold for 8 minutes was told to come and pickup the prescription. Very bad attitudes of front office staff. They of course lost a customer.

Dr Holly, Mariah, and all of the other people we encountered couldn't have been any nicer. Dr. Holly, and Mariah were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and just plain great people. We wouldn't even consider visiting any other veterinary office. Go with confidence, you and your pet will appreciate their knowledge, and empathy.

Excellent and compassionate care. My greyhound recently suffered a foot injury and the infection was so bad he almost lost his life or leg! The VET stayed up all night with him, giving him antibiotics, fluids, and DMSO saving his life! I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for competent compassionate care for their pet.

Dr. Jenn and Dr. Mandy and their staff are wonderful. They take great care of my 4 dogs and 1 cat. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else.

Wow! What a great Animal Hospital. We are on vacation. Our dog got sick and Amelia Island Hospital gave us an appointment within an hour. This was not an emergency. Everyone from the front desk staff to the tech staff to the Doctor was fabulous. I highly recommend Amelia Island Animal Hospital!

I have brought my pets to Amelia Island Animal Hospital for over a decade. Having 4 dogs and a cat means we see the vet rather often. The vet and staff have earned my trust and I would not hesitate to recommend them based on my great experiences.

Horrible service, I have recently used this vet once on an emergency basis, and then again for routine stuff, All this vet cares about is money!

Everyone I encountered here were very kind and willing to help me and my cat, Goose. Unfortunately, my cat was diminishing fast with some autoimmune issues and other complications that made him incurable. The staff here were extremely accommodating when Goose needed to be seen for treatments that helped me keep him alive and comfortable for as long as I could before it came time to let him go. I am especially thankful for the compassion that Dr. Mandy had for myself and my cat. I will always be grateful for the kindness shown in those last moments.

Horrible service, horrible staff, the Veterinarian is the only person there who truly cares about the wellbeing of the animals. I have been many times and each time, my dog leaves worse off than before we walk in the door. Very disappointing!

I've been bringing my dogs to Dr. Jen for over 5 years nowand must say that she is the most caring and considerate vet I've known. Her knowledge of pets and her ability to utilize other area specialists in difficult cases is outstanding. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly reccommend her services to anyone in need of her services
