Joe & Lewie's Penalty Box

My friends and I have been coming to this bar for Wings playoff hockey since last year. This place has Great decor, Tv's and pretty good food. The issue is service. It unfortunately BLOWS! The wait staff is just slow and does not pay good enough attention to their patrons. When it takes 10 minutes to find your waitress and another 15 minutes to get your drink there is an issue. I am not even going to speak to how long it takes to get food. Lets just say its a LONG time. This is not just 1 or 2 times, it has been an on going thing. Today I tried to speak to the manager. He was talking and laughing with a coworker when I approached him. I asked to speak to him and he gave me the 1 minute finger and walked away. He came back 5 minutes later. I had already lost interest and went back to my table and paid my bill. A minute later I was heading toward the door and we locked eyes. He seen that I was heading for the door and he just let me go. Hence I am writing this review. ANY manager in ANY business should value his customers over anything and be prompt and responsive. Not this guy. Overall I give a grade of D since service is the key and this place is very poor.

Sports, beer and realllllllllllllly good food what more could you ask for.....oh.....dang I forgot goooooooood prices tooooooooooo!......oh.....and great companyyyyyyyyyy.........oh and .....excellent decor!!!!!!!!

Just loved the surroundings, the hockey history on the walls is awesome. The food is great and priced reasonably and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. I would give this place 100 stars if I could!

Always a great place to watch a pistons or red wings game. Always have specials during the games!
