Nothing warms the cockles more than a New York Strip steak after a day drilling black diamonds on the slopes. Just ask John Elway, Hall of Fame quarterback, who used to drill TD pass after TD pass for the Denver Broncos. He recently opened his third Elway's eaterie in Colorado at The Lodge at Vail, well worth tackling next time you escape to Vail's snowy playground. Especially if you like the sound of spicy steak chili and lamb chop fondue. Yum.

As an actor, opening movies is a scary endeavor fraught with high stakes, insecurity and often times, improbable failure. The only thing more difficult in this world? Opening a successful restaurant.
