This is a nice place to eat, and has the added bonus of not having long wait times. So if you were going to eat at Miyabi's and the wait was too long, you can come here instead. The ambiance is kind of cheap in comparison, the cooks aren't as fun, and the quality of the chicken isn't as good, but I can live with that. We've eaten both at a table and at the grill. The grill cooks didn't perform many tricks, but they were efficient. On the plus side, you can order food from the hibachi grill even when you're just sitting at a table, although the table service we had was awful. The third time I ate here I had some bites of chicken that were bad enough that I had to spit them into my napkin, but that's the first time that's ever happened to me. Maybe it was an off night? No one I ate with had this problem. So overall, A-OK. The problem is that most places in Fayetteville outright suck, so in comparison, this is actually a great place to eat.

This is a great place to eat dinner, especially for special occasions. The ambiance is fantastic; there is a waterfall at the entrance, a lounge area, and a gorgeous starry ceiling. Definitely make reservations a few days ahead of time if you want to get the full hibachi experience. If you're just wanting sushi, you can usually walk right in and sit down. The only downside is that you can't get anything from the hibachi side when you're eating at the sushi bar. The food here is always tasty, and the service is good.
I had been craving authentic udon for 2 weeks when I finally stumbled upon Sakura online. After reading, mostly, great reviews I decided to give it a try and, man, was I glad that we did! The udon was perfect, just like I remembered from when I lived in Japan years ago. I only wish I had found this place earlier!
