Overall

Went to this location on Sunday, December 27th for my mother in laws 55th birthday. We had heard that the location was under new ownership and they were expanding the dining area. We had a large party with small kids and chose the appropriate table to accommodate our party size. Service was slow and not very good, things like not enough cups of water, not enough plates for the amount of people, not enough silverware... etc. The large size pizza has shrunk as well and was smaller than we remember. It also took quite a long time for the food to come out with little to no server interaction. Once the meal concluded we were going to pay the bill and we tried to use a coupon, one that we have used many times in the past. We were told that Johnny's pizza does not accept the coupon. We were offered to speak to the owner if we would like. So the owner came over and literally the fist thing he told us very angrily was " That coupon is a scam and we have never, and will never accept it" from there it got worse. We were talked down to from a very angry person with no provocation from us. We were told that the previous owner accepted it but he did not want to and was not going to, even though the coupon did not only had his specific location and was not expired...

So we accepted that he did not want to take the coupon, but we also noticed that we were overcharged for the 3 large pizzas we ordered. So we asked the owner if he could at least take care of changing the bill to reflect the correct amount that we were told by the server the pizzas would cost.

He got angrier and not only started shouting at us to leave but told us that we were not welcomed back. Again, we were there with 4 small well behaved children, for my mother in laws 55th birthday dinner...

I will not go back to Johnny's pizza ever and it probably wont be open for too much longer if this owner continues to have interactions with customers like the one we had.

Here's a tip, partners pizza is about 2 miles from there and soon an OZ pizza will be open at the square. Go there, better pizza, and a much better environment.

Overall
The best pizza in Fayetteville??

I have eaten at every pizza place in Fayetteville....every one is a little different but johnny's never fails to impress me. It isn't like the others though. They bake the pizzas in a brick oven...so it feels more artful. Every pizza is a little different but always delicious. I always choose johnnys!
