Some sports fans like to rock up to a bar and cheer on their team. Others live for the traditions: tailgating, party-hosting, and dressing head-to-toe in fan apparel. Here are so…
The Dickson Street scene gets old fast for locals. Can't find anywhere to park and looking in those packed dingy bars makes me want to barf... That's gotta be a health hazard. And then came the Stolen Glass. Ample parking and actually room to sit down! You are never left empty handed, as they offer a unique service to NWA... Cocktail waitresses and bartenders that actually bring you your drinks, and check up on you. The scene is always changing and it never gets old, as there is always live music almost every night, open mic nights and karaoke. Dart boards, free pool and air hockey? You can't go wrong. Very pleased with Fayetteville's newest hot spot. I might not ever go down crowded Dickson Street again!
I have eaten at Mermaids Restaurant several times. I even swing through on my lunch hour sometimes to grab take-out from their Diner Dash. I have NEVER been disappointed with their food. This place is absolutely delicious. The food is cooked to perfection, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and comforting. For all of these reasons combined, I continue to go back time after time. If youve never been to Mermaids, your missing out.
I lived in Fayetteville for 4 years and never once went to Oseguera's. I came back to visit and went with a friend and was instantly upset that I had been missing out all that time! They prepared the best shrimp burrito I've ever had in Arkansas. Great, huge margaritas. By far my favorite Mexican restaurant..I HAVE to have it everytime in the area.
