Country Mart

The reason I like Country Mart is that the store manager with all the supervisors help new people understand the value of a dollar. I have personally shopped all over this country and think that a little country store is needed. Thank you.

The price of everything is high, dirty, had problems talked to management they just make up stuff and lie do not go to any of there places it is a bad place

The deli department doesn't know much about the products they sell! I asked if their pork steaks were gluten free, and they said "I don't know what's put on it." Also, they added that only "the cook" knew. I came to the store at a time when "the cook" was there, and they somehow still didn't know much, except that they put "spices" on the pork. They didn't even know what gluten was anyway. I am also grossed out by the previous lady's statement about the mice droppings !! Bah, never buying from the deli again. I usually don't even shop here, except it's convenient when I don't feel like dealing with the Walmart crowd on weekends.,

I was in this store on November 30 2011 at 2:00pm. I went in to buy a pound of Provel cheese. I told the girl behind the deli case I would like a pound of Provel cheese. She started throwing the meat around on the bottom shelf looking for the Provel cheese. After she found it she started to slice it. I walked down to where they had the Provel cheese in the case to see how much they wanted per pound. They didn't have a price for the Provel cheese but I noticed a bunch of black dirt on the pricing rail. I leaned closer to the deli case to take a better look. I was shocked it was not dirt but mouse droppings. I looked inbetween the full hams, turkeys, and roast beef and there was piles of mouse droppings. These piles where 3" long 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" high. Another customer walked up while I was still looking in the deli case. I asked her if I was seeing what I think I was seeing? She looked in the deli case and said yes you are seeing what you think you are seeing. The girl behind the deli was done slicing my cheese and tried to hand it to me. I told her I was sorry but there is to much mouse poop in the deli case for me to buy anything. I called the Farmington Health Dept as soon as I got home. He did nothing to help except to come up with some BS story. I told him he could take his story and sell it to someone else. I called Jeff City Health Dept and asked for another Health inspector they said they would have someone look into it. I told the girl that I would like a return phone call so I would know what was going on. I waited a week and no return phone call. I tried to call the Jeff City Health Dept back and they have a block on my phone so I can not call any of the Jeff City Health Dept numbers. Meanwhile the Country Mart manager had the employees clean the mouse poop out of the deli case but he is still selling the contaminated meat. The CDC and the USDA said that all the meat is contaminated and needs to be thrown out. Please warn everone you know. This store needs to be shut down for good.

This store has great service. Has cheap prices and has many products to choose from. Its the best choice. I wish they would expand to OK.
