We were assured we would get service on Monday but late in the day we’re told that no technician was available. This was quite inconvenient as I had stayed home all day. Fortunately, we received good service from Zeke the next day. He seemed very competent and was very thorough. He informed us about everything that needed to be done and he reviewed everything before doing the work. The price was also carefully explained. We were very pleased with the work he completed.

They were professional, on time and courteous. They covered their shoes prior to entering my home. They inspected every bathroom throughly, made minor suggestions for preventive maintenance. Left me with a detailed quote but did not push or insist that I do anything immediately. Very friendly and helpful.

Had a problem with the water heater. Bill R. came to the house and after diagnosing the problem we had a new water heater installed. He was very knowledgeable about his work and did a fine job, Also courteous and friendly.

Patrick was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to walk me through all of my options and the status of all of my plumbing/heating fixtures.

I am a platinum service subscriber and I find it to be a great value. Mike was awesome and I enjoyed chatting with him about various things during his stay. I felt comfortable leaving him at my house when I had to run out for an errand, but that’s always the case with this company is technicians. Top-notch. Worth every penny.

I had a minor plumbing issue and within 3 hours of filling out the online scheduling form my issue was resolved. I got a call in less than 20 minutes after I filled it out, they were friendly and helpful. Tyler was the plumber who came out. He was prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. He was nice enough to even check out the unit shut off valve to loosen it since I was having trouble with it. He explained and walked through all my options. I would definitely call them again for plumbing and/or heating/cooling needs. It was hassle free and quick! Tyler didn't even mind when my energetic puppy gave him a very enthusiastic greeting!

I have used them several times. The last time was disappointing. I had some contaminated water in my basement, from an old, cracked main soil pipe. They first thought it was a bad wax seal (from a high pressure toilet they'd put in one year previously.) They replaced the seal (but also did Not seat the toilet properly) so that it rocked back and forth. Then they correctly said that the pipe was cracked. They quoted a High price to replace it, and said they'd need to dig out two bushes in the back yard with a Ditch Witch. So I got a second opinion from the Nelson Brothers. Older, Salt-of-the-Earth guy. He did the work for half the T&G price, fixed the toilet for free, and used a shovel out back (so that no bushes were destroyed.)



OH...and T&G had my negative Yelp! review removed after responding that they wanted to "Make things right." Too Late for that. And, YES, I prefer to review anonymously. That is what the Internet is FOR.

I had a problem with my furnace on Saturday morning. After I called Thornton & Grooms, the technician - Adam Whitney, arrived within 20 minutes. He was very courteous, friendly, and, most importantly, very knowledgeable and professional. It did not take long for him to find a problem and fix it. Service was fast, end result - excellent, and pricing - very reasonable. When you experiencing a problem, you just can't wish more! I will gladly recommend Mr. Adam Whitney to my family and friends.

Thornton & Grooms is a great company. The technicians, especially Adam Whitney, are knowledgable, courteous, friendly, considerate, clean, and thorough. We have been customers for about 5 years now and within the last year upgraded our furnace and added central air. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and quality.
