Most important: the food tasted great! Good atmosphere and nice menu. There was live music when I was there which was a nice touch during my dinner.

As someone who works in Farmington, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, great price and speedy service I have been enjoying in the year we've been going to Cowleys. Their tomato bisque is homemade and as good as it gets. All of the sandwiches are tasty. They do have traditional Irish fare but the menu is more American. Carol and her staff make sure every customer gets their order right now. I especially liked the sweet potato fries with a side of cinnamon sauce. Two thumbs up!

Renovation a few years back completely changed this place. For those that don't know, the renovation was not just a fresh coat of paint and new tables/chairs, they tore the place down and built from the ground up. I agree with the other reviews - prices are a bit high. Service is good, food is very good and the location is excellent. Management is helpful and accommodating (we've had some events there after work and after services at the nearby funeral home). It's a very nice place, much prettier than before, but I miss the old Cowley's! Also, the upstairs area tends to get so loud you cannot hear the person sitting next to you.
