NO PEACEFUL ENJOYMENT OF YOUR HOME HERE.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful home, do NOT move here. While the grounds are attractive and the apartments are a nice size, the walls and floors are NOT sound proof. They are paper thin. You can hear other tenants walking around, you hear their conversations, you hear the water squealing through the pipes, you hear the sliding patio doors and sliding windows opening and closing. It's like living in a big barn. The management seems to be OK and they respond quickly to calls for repairs etc, but I cannot stand hearing my neighbors day in and day out. If I could move without getting sued for breaking my contract I'd be out of here tomorrow. I've lived in apartment homes where I never heard my neighbors. Here, I know when they are bathing, washing clothes, washing dishes, having a phone conversation, have company, etc. And that is not to say the neighbors are unusually loud. The sound just travels everywhere here. This complex is advertised as LUXURY APARTMENT HOMES, and they charge luxury rent. For what I pay in rent, I expect peace and quiet. If peaceful enjoyment of your home is important to you, do not move here. Otherwise, it's OK. A beautiful complex and a pretty good on site management team. Police response is fast. Crime seems to be very very low. A few incidents with parked cars, tires stolen, windows bashed out and a motorcycle was stolen from the lot where we live. I've always felt safe coming and going, even late at night.

Take it from someone whom has lived there for 3+ years. I was a great tennant (quiet, always paid on time) and was treated like utter garbage by the company who owns Green Hill. There are too many other complexes in the area to waste your time here. Stay away from this place and River Bend in Westland (unhappy friends there).
